About The Position

In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting clients who are leaving their employer plan by encouraging them to consult with licensed representatives who can detail insurance solutions relevant to their unique situations. As an Insurance Associate, you are a team player who enjoys encouraging our clients to become better informed of their financial stability as they go through a career transition. You are a solution-oriented, strong communicator, who uses active listening to understand clients' unique situations and highlight the importance of receiving professional advice. As a member of the Client Solutions Centre, you will benefit from our culture of coaching and support; through motivational and inspirational leadership, your Rollover Sales Manager will empower you to make a difference in our clients’ lives.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and rapport
  • LLQP completed or actively in progress is an asset

  • Preferred experience within an outbound or blended call centre

Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact Group Benefits clients who are leaving their employer plans
  • Provide information concerning transitioning out of their group insurance plans on life, critical illness and health and dental insurance
  • Provide information concerning individual insurance coverages and other features
  • Introduce clients to a Sun Life Financial Service Consultant to assist with life, critical illness and health and dental insurance
  • Introduce clients to a Sun Life Advisor to assist with an identified need for holistic financial advice
  • Ensure current and potential clients’ interactions and inquiries are accurately logged in Sales Pipeline management system
  • Monitor and action daily contact priority list
  • Contribute to the Client Solutions Centre’s ongoing success by providing suggestions and recommendations to help improve our clients’ experience and the products and services offered by sharing insights gained by dealing directly with clients
