About The Position
The Rolling Production Line position is responsible for placing wrappers onto rolling machines and inspecting the final product to ensure that Van’s Kitchen “made from scratch” egg rolls are safely prepared before being moved to the packing department. This role is crucial in the food manufacturing process to meet production targets while maintaining product consistency, and requires a watchful eye on the process to prevent damage to egg rolls.
Requirements
- Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Work in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; one to two years’ experience.
- English language preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Food and Beverage industry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the rolling machines operation for safety and quality.
- Set up required utensils for Rolling line.
- Uniformly put wrapper on platform to be automatically filled by machine.
- Quality check at the end of the roller.
- Mid shift cleaning and pre-sanitation. Wash equipment when finished.
- Cross train in other areas of the company for fill-in or other assignments when needed.
- Report any problem with equipment, food safety and quality to supervisors immediately.
- Sweep floor, wash the trays, tables, wash carts, short simple conveyor, squeegee the water off the floor, throw out garbage.
