About The Position

The Nucor Marion Tagger's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking care of customers by executing the division’s safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives. The responsibilities of the Tagger also include: Tagging bundles, maintaining equipment, navigating through hectic situations when they arise, maintaining the printers and understanding how to work on them, working efficiently with the Stacker Operator to produce quality bundles, communicating with maintenance when issues arise and following up with them, assist with all housekeeping in your area, completing PMs and routine maintenance repairs as needed, understanding customers needs, establishing good communication with stacker. The qualified candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

Demonstrated commitment to safety
Strong mechanical aptitude
Well-organized, with the ability to maintain accurate tracking
Willing to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required
