Imagine your first week You step onto the mill floor, gear up, and partner with teammates to prepare the line. You verify gauges with micrometers and calipers, confirm machine readiness, and start the roll. Throughout the shift, you monitor the process, fine-tune parameters to hold tight tolerances, and jump on minor repairs to keep uptime high. When a hiccup appears, you investigate the root cause, correct it, and log improvements so tomorrow runs even better.

Requirements

  • Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Respectful, responsible, and dependable approach to teamwork
  • Comfort in an industrial environment with variable temperatures
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced setting with strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with tapes, micrometers, and inside/outside calipers
  • Track record of dependable attendance and flexibility to meet business needs
  • 1+ year of rolling mill or manufacturing experience
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and care for rolling mill equipment
  • Maintain quality through continuous inspection and adjustments
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs without maintenance support
  • Apply solid troubleshooting and problem-solving to keep the line running
  • Keep your area clean and safe through consistent housekeeping
