About The Position

Electricians install, adjust, modify, and repair all mill electrical, electronic, automation and drives equipment as required by the Shift Supervisor and Electrical Maintenance Supervisors. Demonstrable skill in the use of detailed drawings and applicable computer software is required. These and any other duties assigned by the Supervisor will be performed in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Be safety minded
  • Electrical experience, preferably in the manufacturing industries
  • Ability to work around all levels of electrical supply voltage
  • Ability to work at heights
  • 480V poser experience
  • Low voltage/control voltage AC/DC motor drives (installs, setups, troubleshooting)
  • Excellent Communication (Verbal/Written) & Organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Large DC Motor Experience
  • 2-year Electrical Degree or 2 years Industrial Electrical Experience
  • Experience with a CMMS/workorder program
  • 480 volt motor experience
  • Low/control voltage Allen Bradley PLC experience
  • AC/DC motor VFD experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in Safety.
  • Install new equipment or upgrade existing equipment.
  • Control Circuit Troubleshooting and automation for digital and analog signals
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Instrumentation and Calibration
  • Allen Bradley – Troubleshooting and installation
  • Answer electrical calls and repair in a timely fashion
