About The Position

The Hot Working Laborer position will assist as needed in the day-to-day operations of the rolling mill, the heat-treating area, and the conditioning area. This is a full-time position involving 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with occasional weekends and potential for daylight, afternoon, or midnight shifts. The role requires standing for long periods of time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality
• Ability to operate forklift
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manual lifting, manipulation of high temperature titanium bars using tongs and other hot-working tools
• Furnace loading/unloading
• Maintain and follow all applicable safety protocols
• Maintain material and bar location identifications
• Forklift operation
• Guide set-up and tooling changes
• Manual operation of bar conditioning tools
