Requirements

• Successful completion of a drug screening
• Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work day and night shifts
• Willingness to travel for out-of-town work in Oregon and Idaho
• Weekend availability
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable asphalt experience

Responsibilities

• Safely operate asphalt rollers and compaction equipment.
• Compact asphalt to the proper grade, density, and smoothness.
• Follow rolling patterns and instructions provided by the foreman.
• Work closely with the paving crew to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Inspect equipment before and after each shift.
• Report equipment damage or maintenance needs.
• Keep the roller clean and in good working condition.
• Complete required equipment and safety inspection forms.
• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures.
• Assist with asphalt labor, site cleanup, and other crew duties as needed.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew members.
• Help cross-train asphalt crew members when assigned.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
