Requirements

  • Less than a High School Diploma

Responsibilities

  • Operates a self-propelled machine with either steel wheels or pneumatic tires which is used to compact earth fills, subgrade, flexible base and all other types of materials except bituminous.
  • May oil, grease or otherwise service and make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed
  • Whatever enhances the operations of the company.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
  • Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
