Webber, part of Ferrovial Construction, is seeking a Roller Operator specializing in heavy civil construction. This role involves operating a self-propelled machine used to compact and smooth bituminous materials. Requirements
- Less than a High School Diploma
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
Responsibilities
- Operates a self-propelled machine with either steel wheels or pneumatic tires which is used to compact and smooth all bituminous materials.
- May oil, grease or otherwise service and make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed.
- Whatever enhances the operations of the company.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
