We specialize in safely transporting vehicles and equipment with efficiency and professionalism. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Rollback Wrecker Driver to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent service and ensuring the safe transportation of vehicles. The Rollback Wrecker Driver is responsible for operating a non-CDL rollback truck to safely load, transport, and unload vehicles and light equipment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, customer service, and attention to detail. The position is Monday through Friday, but also requires some on-call and weekend availability. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and have experience in vehicle transport or towing.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (non-CDL).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a rollback truck or similar vehicle.
  • Knowledge of proper loading, securing, and transporting techniques for vehicles.
  • Ability to operate rollback controls safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on safety.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some on-call and weekend shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in towing or roadside assistance services.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles and towing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload vehicles and light equipment using proper securing methods on a non-CDL rollback truck.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Respond promptly to towing requests and breakdowns, including some on-call and weekend work as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including properly securing loads, obeying traffic laws, and utilizing appropriate safety gear.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in proper working condition. Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
  • Accurately complete logs and records of transport activities, including trip details, vehicle conditions, and any incidents during transport.
  • Coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
