Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Basic English grammar, reading, and math skills.
Able to learn Basic Computer skills.
Must possess and maintain good aptitude and attitude.
Must maintain an orderly work environment.
Interpersonal skills, manual dexterity, mechanical skills, math skills, and judgement skills.
Pays attention to details.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to learn to turn on, log in and use a computer to access AS400 program.
Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

Carpet mechanical skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain the Coater (Machine) running by running the Roll Up Console to roll, cut & tape carpet to customer’s request.
Log in & retrieve all order information through the AS400 system to execute customer orders.
Run roll up console to run, roll up, start/stop, cut, tape up/stretch wrap up, eject & label carpet or carpet rolls to complete each customer order all while making sure all quality standards are met.
On an as needed basis, one will have to change tape or stretch wrap rolls on roll up heads.
Maintain great housekeeping throughout assigned areas and shift.
Follow all safety procedures properly and conform to safe work practices.
