The Roll-Off DZ Driver is responsible for safely operating a roll-off truck to service commercial and industrial customers while ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of containers. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain safety standards, and ensure routes are completed efficiently in accordance with Miller Waste Systems protocols.

Requirements

Valid DZ Driver’s Licence required.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility with work schedule, as start and end times may vary.
Excellent attendance and performance record.
Availability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends when required.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 1 year of Roll-Off driving experience is an asset.
Effective written and verbal communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Safely operate a Roll-Off truck.
Possess strong knowledge and work out of the Kawartha Lakes and Port Perry areas.
Ensure customers are serviced according to their contractual requirements and schedules.
Safely push and pull containers of various sizes, including unlocking and locking containers and enclosures/rooms.
Ensure pick-up and delivery schedules are met as assigned.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Meet or exceed performance expectations through proven results.
