The Roll-Off DZ Driver is responsible for safely operating a roll-off truck to service commercial and industrial customers while ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of containers. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain safety standards, and ensure routes are completed efficiently in accordance with Miller Waste Systems protocols.

Requirements

  • Valid DZ Driver’s Licence required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility with work schedule, as start and end times may vary.
  • Excellent attendance and performance record.
  • Availability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year of Roll-Off driving experience is an asset.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Safely operate a Roll-Off truck.
  • Possess strong knowledge and work out of the Kawartha Lakes and Port Perry areas.
  • Ensure customers are serviced according to their contractual requirements and schedules.
  • Safely push and pull containers of various sizes, including unlocking and locking containers and enclosures/rooms.
  • Ensure pick-up and delivery schedules are met as assigned.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Meet or exceed performance expectations through proven results.
