Requirements

  • Valid DZ Driver’s Licence with a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR, and no preventable accidents within the past year.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, as start and end times may vary based on operational demands.
  • Statutory holidays and weekends will be required depending on assignment and coverage needs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attendance and performance record.
  • Have excellent knowledge of and be familiar with the roads in North Bay and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Safely operate a Roll-Off truck.
  • Possess strong knowledge of the North Bay area.
  • Ensure customers are serviced according to their contractual requirements and schedules.
  • Safely push and pull containers of various sizes, including unlocking and locking containers and enclosures/rooms.
  • Ensure pick-up and delivery schedules are met as assigned.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Meet or exceed performance expectations through proven results.
