About The Position
Waste Connections is seeking a safety-conscious, dependable Roll-Off Driver to operate garbage trucks on designated routes in Brooklyn, New York. This is a physically demanding outdoor role that supports clean, efficient communities throughout the year. The schedule is overnight, and the role requires working outdoors in varied weather conditions. The driver performs vehicle inspections, communicates professionally with customers and team members, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and follows applicable transportation regulations. The position is full-time, with pay of $34.60–$36.30 per hour based on relevant experience.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement at minimum.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to repeatedly lift at least 50 pounds.
- Comfort working outdoors in varied weather.
- Two to five years of roll-off experience.
