Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL for the state in which the position operates
- Clean driving record required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork
- Must be able to speak, read, and communicate effectively in English with customers, dispatch, supervisors, and team members
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and work in varying weather and environmental conditions
- Must meet hearing and vision requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Roll-Off trucks and equipment to deliver and remove containers for commercial customers
- Secure containers using hooks, straps, and tarps as required
- Provide professional, courteous, and efficient customer service during all interactions
- Communicate customer concerns or service requests to Customer Service or Sales Representatives when necessary
- Operate compaction and lifting equipment safely and efficiently
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with Waste Pro policies and DOT regulations
- Perform daily DVIR and Safety Lane inspections, including checking fluid levels, tires, undercarriage, and vehicle systems
- Maintain truck cleanliness, including routine washing and inspections
- Follow all company safety procedures, traffic laws, and operational guidelines
- Attend and participate in company-sponsored training and safety programs
- Stay current with company technology and operational procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
