About The Position

Ferrandino & Son, Inc. is seeking an experienced Roll-Off Driver and light equipment operator to support commercial exterior and excavation work. The role involves swapping dumpsters, making box truck deliveries, operating earthmoving machinery, handling materials, and assisting with excavation and landscaping tasks. Crew members also provide manual labor and job-site cleanup. The position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety and efficiency, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, potentially irregular hours.

Requirements

Hold a current, valid CDL and DOT medical card.
Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Have at least 1 year of equipment operation experience, including Bobcat, Backhoe, and Payloader.
Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and potentially irregular hours.
Be able to operate a smartphone or tablet with email capabilities.
Be able to stand, squat, sit, and walk interchangeably for long periods.
Be proficient with various hand tools and common power tools.
Have a high school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform regular dumpster swaps and box truck deliveries as needed.
Operate and monitor Bobcat, Backhoe, Payloader, and other earthmoving equipment.
Load and unload materials and perform related materials-handling tasks.
Excavate foundations and plant trees as needed.
Execute machining tasks precisely and in accordance with specifications and safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
Provide manual labor and perform job-site cleanup as part of daily activities.
