DZ Roll Off Driver
About The Position

Working hard to keep Ottawa looking its best, one roll-off at a time. We’re on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Roll-Off Truck Driver with a valid DZ license and clean Driver's Abstract. This front-line position plays a key role in our daily operations across the Ottawa region, helping deliver, swap, and empty bins safely, efficiently, and professionally. The wage for this position is $30.00/hour.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3+ years of Roll-Off driving experience is required.
- Valid DZ License for at least 3 years (required)
- Clean driver’s abstract and solid safety record
- Strong knowledge of MTO compliance, CVOR, load securement, and daily inspections
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Mechanically inclined with a keen eye for vehicle performance
- Reliable transportation to our yard (not accessible by public transit)
- Able to pass a criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Deliver, swap, and empty roll-off bins at customer sites
- Comfortable with operating a pub trailer
- Secure all loads in compliance with legal and safety standards
- Conduct full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and operations staff
- Represent CFT Recycling with professionalism and respect on every job site
- Keep your truck clean, roadworthy, and safe at all times
- Use sound judgment to spot and report maintenance issues early
- Follow all MTO regulations, company procedures, and safety protocols
- Basic truck maintenance (Ex. greasing truck)
