About The Position
Waste Connections has a Roll Off Driver position open to work at our hauling site in Edinburg, Texas. This role involves Monday – Friday with an occasional Saturday, starting at 5:00 AM and working a 10+ hour shift. We offer year-round steady work and opportunities for promotion into other routes with patience and hard work.
Requirements
- Class A or B CDL
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Drive a roll-off truck to transport waste containers to and from customer locations and disposal sites.
- Operate the truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, pick-ups, and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Assist with minor maintenance and cleaning of the truck and equipment as needed.
