About The Position
Waste Connections is seeking experienced and safety-minded CDL Drivers for a Roll Off Driver position in Dallas, Texas. The role involves safely operating a CDL Truck from the Dallas yard, servicing commercial routes with timely pickups and deliveries, and operating hydraulic and automated lifting systems to load and unload materials and containers. The position offers a consistent schedule, built-in overtime, and opportunities for career growth within one of North America's top waste service companies.
Requirements
- Class A or B CDL
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR and safety-first mindset
- Physically able to lift 75+ lbs., climb in/out of truck, and work outdoors in all conditions
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL Truck from our Dallas yard—start and end your shift in the same location
- Service commercial routes with timely pickups and deliveries
- Operate hydraulic and automated lifting systems to load/unload materials and containers
- Work a consistent schedule: Mon–Fri, Sat as needed 6 AM start | Approx. 50–65 hrs./week
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
