Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll-off trucks to support Blue Bear Waste Services’ mission of providing reliable waste hauling solutions. This role ensures timely pickup and delivery of roll-off containers, maintains high safety standards, and provides excellent service to customers. Work hours vary seasonally and according to customer demand. During peak periods, schedules may extend up to 14-hour days and as many as 60 hours per week. Saturdays may be required as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid CDL with at least 12 months of working experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
  • Must provide current MVR (no older than 30 days), CDL, and Medical Card at time of application
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and DOT compliance
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Regular sitting, standing, walking, climbing in/out of trucks, and operating heavy equipment.
  • Full range of body movement, such as turning, stooping, kneeling and climbing.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Operate roll-off trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Complete assigned routes and service orders in a timely manner.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after use; report needed repairs.
  • Maintain clean driving record and comply with all DOT regulations.
  • Utilize company systems for trip logs, service confirmations, and communication.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all job sites.
  • Work overtime as business needs require.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
