About The Position

Wind River Environmental is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to haul and transport waste from sewer treatment plants to landfill sites. This is a hands-on role requiring safe truck operation, skilled backing and maneuvering in tight or overhead-constrained areas, and driving in high-traffic areas, alleyways, and industrial sites. The driver communicates with dispatch, customers, and the shop; prepares for jobs; responds to service calls and emergencies; and follows applicable safety protocols. The position works outdoors in all weather and includes scheduled on-call weekend and overtime work. Routes are local, with employees home every night. The estimated pay range is $21.00–$24.00 per hour, with final compensation based on factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Requirements

• CDL Class A or B with a current medical card.
• Clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Ability to work independently and stay on schedule.
• Willingness to do hands-on work and take pride in essential work.
• Strong focus on safety, reliability, and doing the job right the first time.
• Comfort using a tablet or smartphone for route information and updates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, or similar heavy equipment.

Responsibilities
