About The Position

The Roll Form Operator is responsible for operating the roll-forming system, ensuring quality checks are performed consistently, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role requires adherence to safety regulations, efficient coil changes and machine changeovers, and accurate documentation of work completed. The operator will also work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiencies, and perform other duties as requested.

Responsibilities

Follow company safety rules in accordance with OSHA regulations (e.g., wearing PPE, safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves).
Complete all tasks as required or assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or upper management.
Cross train as directed and be willing to work at any production or shipping position in the plant.
Ensure quality checks are done consistently.
Ensure coil changes and machine changeovers are done as efficiently as possible while maintaining a safe environment.
Always maintain a clean work area.
Verify each bundle tag is marked correctly for the customer order.
Minimize the amount of waste.
Responsible for keeping the coil storage area and roll-former area organized.
Perform all duties required of the roll-forming system.
Act professionally as a team player always.
Provide accurate documentation of all work completed.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiencies.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
