About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Machine Operator to work in their steel panel production department. This position is responsible for operating a roll form mill to produce steel panels cut to custom lengths. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and a team first mindset, take initiative and own their work, while communicating with respect.

Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to work on your feet for 90% of the day.
Ability to lift up to 40 - 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to understand and read schematics.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to work independently but contribute to team accomplishments.
Strong attention to details.
Reliable transportation, attendance, & punctuality.
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Nice To Haves

Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Operating a steel roll form mill, loading & unloading steel coils with a forklift, banding and putting away steel.
Know how to properly run the equipment to make panels to specifications.
General understanding of how steel panels are used in construction.
Learn and cross train on other machines.
Inspect finish products for accuracy and consistency.
Maintain a clean and organized work space.
Follow company safety procedures.
Work collaboratively within the team to meet daily production goals.
Willing to work with others in supportive areas of the plant.
