Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum age is 18 years and older
• 6 months experience in licensed preschool setting is required
• Patient, good with children, good communication skills and flexible
• Works well with others
• Reference/background screening

Nice To Haves

• Early childhood education courses preferred
• Child Development Certificate
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or other relevant degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct interaction with the children in games, activities and free play
• Ensuring the general health, welfare and well-being of each child
• Lesson planning
• Active participants with the children enrolled
• Effective communicators with parents, children, supervisors and co-workers
