About The Position
We are currently hiring Rodbusters in Orlando, FL for on-going projects. Pay is $25- $28 per hour based on experience and skill set. As a rodbuster you are responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing reinforcing steel and structural frameworks used in large-scale custom fabrication projects. The ideal rodbuster candidate has experience reading blueprints, tying rebar, and working with precision to support specialty builds in a manufacturing environment. OSHA 10 required - training can be provided for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Rod Buster, Ironworker, Rebar Installer, or Structural Steel Fabricator.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
- Experience cutting, bending, and tying reinforcing steel.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- OSHA 10 required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in custom fabrication, precast concrete, structural steel, or specialty manufacturing is preferred
- training can be provided for qualified candidates
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel according to project requirements
- Assemble and secure rebar cages, frameworks, and structural components
- Use hand and power tools to fabricate and install reinforcing steel
- Verify measurements and maintain quality standards
- Work closely with welders, fabricators, carpenters, and production team
