About The Position

Working knowledge of all technology and AV equipment within the student center Working knowledge of and enforcement of policies and procedures of the student center in addition to university policies Support professional staff in Rocky Top Student Center Attend training sessions, monthly meetings, and professional development seminars Greet, direct, and answer questions for visitors, students, and faculty/staff Attend scheduled shifts Arrive to shifts on time; properly clock in and out Complete daily logs Conduct hourly rounds Distribute survey and other programming information Turn on/off TVs in the Student Center Review bulletin boards and all flyers

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Be dependable and punctual
  • Ability to use Web browsers on Microsoft Windows computers
  • Possess positive attitude towards the Student Center and the University
  • Willing to promote department and University Goals
  • Recipient of Federal Work Study
  • Available to work 2-4, 2-hour shifts between the hours of operation of 12pm- 8pm, Monday - Friday
