About The Position

Assist with day-to-day production responsibilities. (Editing ~70%, Filming ~30%) Contribute to and execute the creative direction and vision of production initiatives. Complete special projects with minimal supervision. Assist with graphics creation, color correction, and audio mixing. Participate in Production Assistant Training (week before each semester) Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Non-linear editing experience, preferably Adobe Premiere
  • Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Strong storytelling and editing skills.
  • Ability to take feedback with a desire and passion to learn and improve.
  • Self-motivated and eager to take an idea or task and run with it.
  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong time management skills
  • Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
  • Must have valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to carry 50 lbs
  • At least 10 hours a week scheduled per week (up to 15 hours a week for undergraduate students or 20 hours a week for graduate students)
  • Some nights and weekends
  • Resume and link to a portfolio or examples of your best video work
