About The Position

Equinox seeks a Rock Wall Pro for our state-of-the-art Sports Club NYC location. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Oversee the rockwall areas; ensure that all equipment is used safely. Assist members with climbing gear, instruction, and belaying. Maintain a clean rockwall area. Examine rockwall equipment prior to use; store properly at the end of shift. Enforce all member and employee policies, rules and regulations. Adhere to safety practices and policies. Respond to members' concerns, suggestions and complaints in a timely, professional manner. Offer the highest level of member and employee service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in rock climbing, including belaying.
High School graduate or equivalent.
First Aid training.
Strong desire to work in Fitness industry.
Must be able to work weekends.
Ability to speak conversational English is required.
Must be available and able to work at both sites Equinox E61st (330 E 61st) and Sports Club NY (160 Columbus Ave, 67st)
Must have a legal right to work in the United States.
