We are seeking a dedicated Rock Steady Boxing Instructor who is able to design and implement progressive exercise programs tailored to varying stages and abilities of Parkinson's disease. This role requires strong leadership, compassion, and the ability to create a safe, motivating, and supportive environment that empowers participants to improve their strength, balance, mobility, and overall quality of life. The ideal candidate will inspire confidence, foster community, and guide participants through evidence-based, non-contact boxing and functional fitness exercises while promoting safety and individual success. POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Chronic Disease Program Instructor at The YMCA of the Roses maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for students in evidence based programming.
