About The Position

This role is for a Rock Hauler for our site in Krugerville, Texas who take pride in safe driving, reliable material transport, and maintaining their equipment. If you have commercial driving experience and a strong commitment to safety, we want to hear from you! You will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer combination and ready-mix truck to transport aggregate materials between our plants and customer sites. You will play a key role in supporting a strong safety culture by following DOT regulations, maintaining your equipment, communicating operational concerns, and helping keep our facilities clean, safe, and efficient.

Requirements

  • 21+ years old
  • Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required for this position
  • Two years of experience driving a tractor trailer combination, or 1 year over the road with a tractor trailer combination
  • Consistent, reliable attendance with the flexibility to work irregular hours, including scheduled Saturdays
  • Ability to pass PSP, MVR, background check, drug & alcohol testing and a physical assessment
  • Flexibility to work from other BURNCO Plants based on business needs
  • Clear commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork in all aspects of the job
  • Active FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration (required for all CDL drivers)

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Tractor Trailer Combination & Ready-Mix Truck in urban and rural areas with tight construction sites at times
  • Completing routine maintenance of equipment, including reporting minor mechanical issues and thorough cleanliness of unit daily
  • Contribute to keeping areas in and around the plants clean and hazard free
  • Follow all BURNCO policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT and company driving standards
  • Communicate and escalate any operational or safety concerns to the supervisor
  • Crosstrain in other areas as needed to support team operations
  • Perform related duties as assigned
