About The Position

Robo Reliance is seeking a hands-on Robotics Technician to support client deployments across the East Bay area, including Oakland, San Lorenzo, and Berkeley. This is a part-time, project-based role, ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills who is comfortable working independently on-site. Technicians may participate in onboarding and field training based on client needs. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their income with flexible, project-based work, rather than replace a full-time position. Robo Reliance keeps robots running by providing on-site maintenance and repair for humanoid, autonomous, and industrial robots, helping companies reduce downtime and keep systems operating. Our technicians support multiple robotics platforms, delivering preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services in real-world environments. Robo Reliance is a fast-growing, early-stage robotics field services company building a nationwide network of skilled technicians.

Requirements

• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on technician or field service experience
• Ability to work independently on-site
• Good communication with customers
• Reliable and professional work style

Nice To Haves

• Robotics, automation, or mechatronics experience
• PLC exposure, Allen-Bradley or Siemens
• Field service experience with customer interaction
• Preventative maintenance and repair experience
• Technical documentation experience
• Trade school or technical training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain robotic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to service requests
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic software issues
• Work directly with customers in professional, on-site environments
• Document service work, findings, and repairs clearly
• Stay current on robotics tools, systems, and best practices
