About The Position

As a Robotics Setter, you will set up Robotic and/or automated welding machines, support initial start-up/implementation of machines, and perform basic maintenance. This role involves setting up manufacturing facilities, including automated production units, and creating robot, service/handling, and welding programs. You will also be responsible for setting welding sequences and parameters, analyzing macro section reports, scrap, welding procedures, and cycle times to optimize programs and processes. Additionally, you will monitor production cells for welding equipment and peripherals, ensure basic settings and desired equipment/program states, and collaborate with fixture construction on new devices, welding accessibility, and part fit. You will also support program teams during start-ups, feasibility studies, and process definitions.

Requirements

  • Several years of working experience as a setter
  • Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or toolmaker
  • Manual or automated welding experience
  • Mechanical comprehension
  • High degree of initiative, independence, ability to work in a team, and flexibility
  • Team-oriented and accurate way of working
  • Must have own reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing industry experience (preferably metal processing/welding)
  • Knowledge of setting/operating automated production machinery
  • MS Office skills
  • English skills
