About The Position

FulcrumAir is seeking a talented and motivated Robotics Operator & Technician to join their Calgary team. This role is part of the manufacturing team and is responsible for the assembly, depot maintenance, overhauls, and repairs of FulcrumAir UAVs and Aerial Robotics Systems. The position also involves operating robotic equipment for device installs and other related tasks. The role offers the opportunity to travel up to two weeks per month and collaborate with a team of experts.

Requirements

Willing and able to travel up to 2 weeks a month.
Willing and able to travel internationally with current passport.
Driver’s license with a clean abstract.
Ability to conform with FulcrumAir’s pre-employment drug and alcohol testing program.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Punctuality and professionalism.
Completed High School/GED.
Expert in soldering and circuitry.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
Thorough understanding of wiring and electronics.
Knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Familiarity with manufacturing facilities.
Familiarity with UAV autopilots, GPS units, radios, and other components.
Knowledge of electric motors and control systems.
Computer skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Meticulous organization and housekeeping.

Nice To Haves

Relevant experience such as electrical assembly, small electronics repair, aircraft maintenance, or experience with drones/RC vehicles is an asset.
Applicable technical qualification such as Electrical Engineering Technology, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, or equivalent.
3 + years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Overall assembly, depot maintenance, overhauls, and repairs of FulcrumAir UAVs and Aerial Robotics Systems.
Operating robotic equipment to perform device installs.
Performing other related tasks as needed.
