About The Position

NOV's Conroe Facility produces downhole products for drilling activities in North America. The plant operates 24/7 to meet high demand, providing employees with an air-conditioned, highly organized, and clean 300,000 SQ. ft. fabrication facility equipped with new CNC Machines (Mazak, Mori Sieke, DMG Mori, Weiler, etc.). Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
3–7 years of industrial robotics experience.
Experience with industrial robot programming, PLC integration, industrial networking, and manufacturing support.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Must be fluent in Chinese

Nice To Haves

Experience in energy equipment or heavy manufacturing.
Robotic welding, machine vision, collaborative robots, offline simulation software.
SprutCAM
Python or C# experience.
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
Project management experience.

Responsibilities

Design, program, test, and commission industrial robotic systems.
Develop robot programs using FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman, or Universal Robots.
Configure EOAT, vision systems, sensors, and peripheral equipment.
Optimize robot cycle times and troubleshoot robotic systems.
Collaborate with Controls Engineers to integrate robots with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, and safety systems.
Provide production support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Manage small-to-medium automation projects and coordinate suppliers.
