About The Position

This role focuses on robotics engineering within industrial automation. The engineer will be responsible for various aspects of robotics implementation, from planning and commissioning to programming and application development.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in robotics for industrial automation.
• Demonstrated project planning and project management skills.
• Experience commissioning industrial robots in a large manufacturing installation.
• Basic understanding of mechanical repair, computer programming, and electric circuit design.
• Experience with typical robotics applications (joining, material handling, etc.).
• Experience with Offline programming.
• Ability to effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external business partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Proficiency with more than one familiar 6-axis industrial robot brand (e.g., Fanuc, Kawasaki, ABB, Kuka).

Responsibilities

• Project planning and project management using tools like Smart Sheets, JIRA, or Microsoft suite.
• Commissioning industrial robots in large manufacturing installations.
• Performing basic mechanical repair, computer programming, and electric circuit design.
• Working with typical robotics applications such as joining and material handling.
• Utilizing offline programming techniques.
• Influencing, negotiating, and communicating effectively with internal and external partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Working proficiently with multiple 6-axis industrial robot brands (e.g., Fanuc, Kawasaki, ABB, Kuka).
