In this environment, the Automation Engineer will play a critical role in improving productivity, reducing waste, enhancing process standardization, and implementing Lean manufacturing initiatives that enable our operations to meet growing customer demand. To support these objectives, the Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting automation and control systems that improve operational efficiency, product quality, safety, and reliability. The role works collaboratively across engineering, maintenance, operations, and IT teams to analyze processes, troubleshoot control system issues, and develop solutions that meet both business and technical requirements. By combining automation expertise with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, the position ensures that automated equipment and systems perform effectively throughout their lifecycle—from initial concept and design through commissioning and validation to ongoing support and continuous improvement.
