About The Position

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world-class service, repair, and re-manufacturing in the areas of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and mechanical components for various industries. This position requires component-level repair of industrial controls. We are willing to train entry-level technicians.

Requirements

5+ years of experience repairing electronics.
Must have experience with Fanuc, Motoman, Allen Bradley, and Siemens.
Must have experience with Allen Bradey and Siemens ladder logic.
Able to home and perform basic robotic programming.
Complete understanding of a DDM, oscilloscope, function generator, variable power supplies and other lab test equipment.
Effective communication and interaction skills needed.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Nice To Haves

Programming experience with C++ a plus.
Cable troubleshooting and building a plus.
Experience with Profibus and CAN bus a plus.

Responsibilities

Repair of industrial robotic components and PLC’s.
Troubleshoot and identify root causes of robotics and electronic failures.
Troubleshoot electronics to board level components.
Solder through hole and surface mount components.
Able to use basic hand tools.
May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.
