About The Position

The Engineered Systems team is responsible for identifying, scoping, negotiating, and ensuring execution of robotics and automation projects for LiftOne and BlueSkye. This role will support the development of a multiyear pipeline of large-scale automation projects that will expand the product and service offerings LiftOne and Blueskye will bring to market. Additionally, this individual provides support to the Director, Engineering Solutions and is responsible for actively engaging with target systems accounts and acting as the customer’s trusted partner in the sales process and through delivery of the sold product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree.
  • Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, relationship development, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present at the senior most level in the business.
  • Team player comfortable working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, within a cross-border/virtual team environment.
  • A willingness to embrace change, to keep an open mind.
  • Travel up to 75%

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and target accounts through regular touchpoints (phone, virtual meetings, site-visits).
  • Understand customer’s needs, provide proactive solutions, address concerns, and offer ongoing recommendations for additional services.
  • Assess customer needs and collect necessary data to generate a systems solution, including understanding current operations, identifying pain points, and strategizing solutions.
  • Work with assigned solutions engineer and management to develop customized solution proposals, determining system flow, product selection, cost savings, operational efficiency, and improved safety measures.
  • Work with the systems team to provide accurate proposals to the customer, including process flows, pricing, implementation schedules, and ROI calculations.
  • Manage the ordering process, including order submission, management of vendor quotes, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, and handling change orders.
  • Stay engaged in the delivery of the material handling system, ensuring installation and implementation meet customer satisfaction, and participate in site acceptance testing.
  • Work with the local branch to provide an aftermarket strategy, including parts and service support, to the customer during the sales process.
