About The Position

Horsepower Automotive Group (HPAG) is a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry, supporting a multi-brand organization including Addictive Desert Designs, DV8 Offroad, Flatline Van Co, Rago Fabrication, and C4. They foster a collaborative environment and value diverse perspectives. This role involves crafting innovative off-road truck parts in an air-conditioned, in-house facility. The Weld Robot Operator will develop new programs, train the robot, troubleshoot welding issues, and ensure robot uptime. The position also includes manual fabrication, grinding, finishing, and quality verification.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Must be 18 or older
Minimum 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience
Minimum 1+ year working on a robotic welder

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of production welding and assembly workflows
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bending, cut-off saws, and grinders
Ability to read and interpret CAD prints and product schematics
Self-motivated and responsive to production metrics
Team player who puts the group's success first
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Experience with OTC Robotic Welders

Responsibilities

Experience programming, fine tuning, and managing robotic welders
Responsible for Robot Welder Up Time, Track daily production build counts and flow
Weld a variety of steel structures per CAD print requirements
Build complete assemblies from start to finish including grinding and finishing
Read and understand product schematics and verify dimensions
Use a variety of manufacturing tools per job specifications
Ensure quality control standards are met on every build
Adhere to all safety standards
