About The Position

DJS Manufacturing, a division of Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing, is a privately-held independent metal fabrication company seeking a motivated and dedicated Robotic Welding Cell Set-up/Operator. We produce components for a wide range of industries and pride ourselves on providing high-quality products and services. Our facility is equipped with the latest manufacturing technology, including CNC machining, full metal fabrication (laser, brake, welding), painting, and integrated assemblies.

Requirements

Experience running a Panasonic TA series MIG welding robot.
Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

Daily setup and operation of a MIG welding robot to meet customer specifications for quantity and quality.
Assist other operators as a helper on key work or machines.
Perform housekeeping, maintenance work, and material staging.
Operate manual and/or robotic welding equipment.
Read shop orders and engineering drawings to determine specifications.
Apply welds per specifications to produce completed product.
Produce assemblies of metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards.
Perform repetitive lifting and placing metal work pieces into fixtures.
Measure dimensions of metal work pieces using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, templates, rulers, etc.
Perform quality checks and report issues to lead and/or supervisor.
Accurately document and maintain information in written or electronic form.
Complete finishing functions such as grinding and sanding.
Perform operator preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems, welders, or components.
Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality.
Modify computer-controlled robot movements.
Adopt and incorporate quality methods into work.
Work independently.
