About The Position

Skilled Manufacturing Assignment to Hire Robotic Welder Are you a skilled welder with a passion for robotics and precision automation? Do you excel at both hands-on welding and the technical challenge of robot programming and setup? If so, our Oshkosh clients needs YOU! Position – Robotic Welder Job Location – Oshkosh, WI Starting Date – Immediate Employment Term – Temp to Hire Employment Type – Full-Time Work Hours (Shift) – 1st & 2nd shifts are available! Starting Pay – Dependent on experience, Range is $20 to 25 Benefits – Medical, Dental, 401K, PTO Required Education – High School Diploma/GED Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience As a Robotic welder, you will be responsible for interpreting specifications for each job, completing a quality weld, and inspecting the finished product.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating and programming industrial robotic welding systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
  • Strong background in MIG and/or TIG welding processes and metallurgy.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with various welding gauges and quality control procedures.
  • Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
  • At least 2 years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Welding certification and/or technical degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and optimize welding programs (e.g., teaching points, adjusting parameters) for various parts and materials.
  • Perform tooling and fixture setup to ensure accurate and repeatable part placement for the robot.
  • Conduct initial trial runs and make adjustments to achieve quality specifications and cycle time goals.
  • Operate and monitor robotic welding cells, ensuring consistent output and quality.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on robotic systems and welding equipment (torches, wire feeders, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or programming issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform quality checks (visual inspection, measurement) on finished welds to ensure they meet engineering drawings and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all company safety protocols.
