About The Position

Cadrex is searching for a Robotic Weld Operator II who is responsible for operating, monitoring, and performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance on robotic welding equipment. This position requires a solid understanding of welding processes, quality standards, and robotic equipment operation in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has prior experience with robotic weld cells and demonstrates the ability to work independently while meeting production and quality requirements.

Requirements

2+ years of experience operating robotic welding equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge of welding processes (MIG, resistance, etc.) and robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB, OTC)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
Effective communication and teamwork skills
High School Diploma

Responsibilities

Operate and oversee robotic welding cells, ensuring parts are loaded, cycled, and unloaded properly
Perform inspections of welds using visual methods and measurement tools to verify quality against specifications
Adjust welding parameters and perform basic programming adjustments as needed to maintain weld quality
Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment malfunctions and quality issues
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, changing consumables, and verifying fixture alignment
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
Document production and inspection data accurately
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement
Adhere to safety protocols and participate in 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives
Provide guidance and training to Robotic Weld Operator I personnel as needed
