This specific job posting is for an existing vacancy for a Robotic Technician, who will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work, ensuring assembly quality, troubleshooting processes, managing spare parts, maintaining documentation, solving problems, participating in PM programs, preparing reports, documenting work orders, contributing to technology development, and participating in training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all maintenance and repair work in either the plant or grounds.
  • Assure all assembly quality specifications are met by continuously monitoring the assembly processes on the equipment assigned.
  • Troubleshoot all aspects of the assembly process as required.
  • Maintain spare parts and components inventory at appropriate levels.
  • Inform the tool crib attendant of low levels or shortage of parts or components in stock.
  • Maintain up to date documentation of equipment.
  • Document changes and alterations made to all equipment.
  • Solve maintenance related problems with minimal interruption to production.
  • Actively participate in the Preventative Maintenance Program and down time reduction process.
  • Follow the PMP schedule and completing PMP checklists.
  • Prepare a list of problems encountered during the shift and other necessary reports.
  • Document work orders in the MVP system daily.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of latest technologies to improve productivity and/or quality.
  • Participate in training to upgrade skills and knowledge to meet changing technologies, customer, government and health and safety requirements.
  • Make recommendations to improve equipment efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Advise the Manager of any potential problems and offer solutions.
  • Actively participate in the preparation of safety and operation procedures.
  • Maintain clean and safe working conditions.
  • Assist in the training and development of new hires and apprentices.
