About The Position

The Robotic Palletizer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of automated robotic palletizing systems used to stack, wrap, and prepare finished products for shipment. This position monitors equipment performance, performs routine troubleshooting, ensures product quality and pallet integrity, and works closely with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to maximize equipment uptime and throughput. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working with automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced food production environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read work orders and production documentation.
  • Basic computer skills for production reporting and HMI operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating automated equipment preferred.
  • Experience operating robotic palletizers (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, or similar).
  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate robotic palletizers, conveyors, pallet dispensers, stretch wrappers, and associated packaging equipment.
  • Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
  • Clear product jams and perform minor mechanical adjustments while following Lockout/Tagout procedures when required.
  • Verify pallet patterns, product orientation, labels, and pallet quality meet customer specifications.
  • Perform equipment start-up, shutdown, and changeovers.
  • Complete routine inspections and document equipment performance.
  • Identify and communicate mechanical or operational issues to maintenance and supervision.
  • Maintain accurate production records and downtime documentation.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities as assigned.
  • Maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety requirements.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF, HACCP, and all company food safety policies.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-train on other packaging and production equipment as needed.
