About The Position

Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. The Robotic Operations Specialist is responsible for the specialized maintenance and operation of robotic machinery to ensure the efficient production of goods. This role involves managing custom quantity reels, performing technical troubleshooting, and ensuring all same-day work meets strict customer quality requirements. The specialist also serves as a cross-functional member of the warehouse team, supporting Tape & Reel and general operations as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or production environment (3 years minimum).
  • Must be highly tech-savvy with a demonstrated ability to identify, explain, and troubleshoot mechanical or software faults in robotic equipment.
  • Strong ability to read, write, and orally communicate technical issues in English.
  • Ability to follow complex procedures and manage detailed QC documentation.
  • Familiarity with warehouse ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
  • Must be able to utilize standard warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks.
  • Ability to manage time constraints and competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the ERP warehouse system.
  • Utilize and oversee robotic machines to maintain continuous production flow; proactively address machine stoppages caused by part orientation errors, empty pockets, or mechanical faults.
  • Perform all required machine checks based on the Robotic Test Checklist in department procedure D3-MP109.
  • Process all custom quantity (non-standard) reels for customers and ensure all same-day work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Understand and apply the routing of QC sheets to ensure all finished products meet specific customer requirements.
  • Manage and monitor robot room supplies to prevent shortages; communicate inventory needs to the Team Leader or Supervisor for escalation to the Supply Chain team.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including always wearing ESD foot straps and/or wrist straps when handling sensitive components.
  • Note and document machine faults with a high level of technical detail to explain issues thoroughly to maintenance or engineering teams.
  • Research and resolve potential discrepancies if not, notify team leader, supervisor, or manager for resolution.
  • Crosstrain in all facets of warehouse operations to support departmental flexibility and professional development.
  • Provide operational support to the Tape & Reel department and other cross-functional warehouse departments as required.
  • Ensure operators are trained per department procedures. HRF-011 (On the Job Training) form must be completed and provided to the L&D Team.
