About The Position

We are looking for an experienced ROBOTIC MECHANIC to join our maintenance team in Lithia Springs, GA plant. This is a fulltime position Monday to Friday (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) with likelihood of overtime. This position requires at least 2 years robotics experience and 3 years experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Shipping, and more. This position requires strong teamwork with both management and plant-floor personnel.

Requirements

Minimum two years of Robotics experience.
3 – 5 years’ experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and understand schematics.
Skilled in the use of multi-meters and other test equipment.
Must be proficient in the following platforms and standards: RS Linx, RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, Factory Talk View, DeviceNet, EtherNet, Data Highway, Microsoft Windows.
Lock-Out Tag-Out standards, troubleshooting a 480v electrical connections.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

You will work as a PLC/Robotics technician to handle all factory electrical, electronic and equipment controls with a focus towards safety, quality and production efficiency.
This position designs, modifies, troubleshoots and repairs production electronic components such as machine controls, robots, HMI’s, PLC’s, motors, drives, and communication equipment.
Troubleshooting all issues and performing mechanical technical tasks as assigned.
Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
