About The Position

Absolutely American, Inc. is seeking a highly detail-oriented Robotic Assembly and Laser Cutting Machine Operator for a full-time, in-person role in Rhome, TX. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and machine mastery, understanding the intricacies of setup accuracy, material behavior, fixture alignment, and the impact of small adjustments on the final product. The role involves working with advanced machinery, including CNC tube laser cutting machines, CNC 2D plate laser systems, and robotic welding and assembly systems, to produce parts that meet exact standards.

Requirements

Experience operating CNC laser cutting machines
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Understanding of machine setup, tolerances, and material behavior
Strong problem-solving skills and systems-thinking mindset
Pride in craftsmanship and producing high-quality work
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with multi-axis tube laser cutting systems
Experience with robotic welding or robotic assembly systems

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC tube laser cutting machines and CNC 2D plate laser systems
Operate robotic welding and assembly systems
Load and position materials accurately for production
Adjust fixtures, verify machine setup, and optimize alignment
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models
Edit and optimize machine programs when necessary
Monitor cutting parameters to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Perform quality inspections and verify parts meet specifications
Troubleshoot production issues and make corrections proactively
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations
Minimize waste while maximizing production quality and consistency
