Requirements

  • Ability to work with voltmeter, paint applicators test stand, seava air cap tester, oscilloscope, solder equipment and welder.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic and testing equipment, including volt meters, test stands, air cap testers, oscilloscopes, soldering equipment, and welders.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and problem-solving skills in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Adhere to all safety policies; work safely at all times, report unsafe conditions, accidents, and near misses promptly, and maintain proper ergonomics.
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Comfortable troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Experienced with electrical or mechanical repairs
  • Ready to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive manufacturing experience is a bonus!
  • Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred
  • Relevant hands-on experience may substitute for education
  • If you are currently pursuing a related degree- we’ll consider that too.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Paint Robot Team to keep our paint line running smoothly.
  • Operate and maintain robotic and paint application equipment per control plans, ensuring quality and delivery targets are met.
  • Perform and document required maintenance, calibrations, parameter settings, and robot PMs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Identify, document, and help resolve product, process, or quality issues in compliance with IATF-16949 requirements; verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Perform cross-functional assignments per established procedures, work guidance sheets, TPMs, and quality alerts.
  • Maintain professional radio etiquette.
  • Work overtime as required and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Meet customer and company quality standards; direct non-conforming parts appropriately.
  • Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S updates.
  • Meet or exceed daily production goals and accurately record/report production data.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas; properly store tools and report equipment issues.
