About The Position

This is a hands-on production line operation role in a manufacturing environment. The position involves operating robotic equipment and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and steel-toed shoes must be used. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

Requirements

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
Ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time.
Ability to work overtime hours as needed with little or no notification.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of basic moulding processes, procedures, and machinery preferred (ex. oven/kiln operation, conveying systems, presses).
Experience in the safe storage and handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities

Hands-on production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
Computer literacy; must work closely with computers and programs daily.
Diligent observation of machinery in order to identify abnormalities during operation.
Be able to make/suggest adjustments in order to positively affect quality.
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems that arise.
Ensure that all quality controls are completed each day.
Detailed cleaning of all applicable areas during product color changes.
Communicate with other Operators, Assistant Shift Leaders and Shift Leader.
Ensure a clean and safe work area.
Assist in production as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
