About The Position

HireArt is helping our client, a fast-growing AI robotics company, find Robot Operators to join its deployed team at a customer production facility in the Taylor, TX area. In this role, you will operate physical robotic prototypes in a live production environment, performing recurring customer tasks while collecting data and observations that help improve robotic performance. You will work with a focused set of customer tasks, operating robots consistently and to a high standard while demonstrating tasks, evaluating autonomous behavior, and documenting outcomes. Because engineering and development teams support the deployment remotely, you will also play an important role in clearly communicating technical observations and issues that help drive product improvements. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing focused, repetitive work while maintaining a high level of consistency and precision. You should be a clear written communicator who can work independently, follow strict operating procedures, and professionally represent the company while working onsite at a customer facility. Nice To Haves

  • Experience with video gaming, virtual reality systems, or remotely operated platforms, such as: Drones, Robotics, Remote-controlled systems, Similar technologies
  • Demonstrated proficiency through competitions, public portfolios, streaming platforms, or other verifiable experience.
  • Familiarity with command-line interfaces (CLI).
  • Experience using GitHub or other version-control environments.
  • Experience working onsite at customer or partner facilities.
  • Experience working in controlled production, manufacturing, field, or other environments with strict operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate physical and simulated robotic prototypes for extended periods using virtual reality (VR) headsets and controllers.
  • Execute recurring customer tasks with a high degree of consistency, quality, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Collect data to improve robotic models by demonstrating tasks and evaluating autonomous behavior.
  • Operate simulated robotic systems for training and data collection when the customer site is unavailable.
  • Document task outcomes, issues, and technical observations clearly and accurately.
  • Provide structured, actionable written feedback to remote engineering and development teams to support product improvements and issue resolution.
  • Represent the company and its technology professionally while working as a guest at the customer facility.
  • Follow all customer-site requirements, including safety protocols, protective equipment, cleanliness standards, and controlled-access procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on robotic systems.
  • Set up, tear down, and maintain robotic equipment and work areas.
  • Participate in projects designed to improve tools, workflows, and operational processes.
